Stressful path to the top

what was it like. i haven't been up there this season. did you do any other stuff of mt. fort or just stairway??

until the run gets a little bit flater, it was powdery like in January, even it was last saturday, April 8th...really great! In the lower part the snow gets a little bit wet and heavy.

We also did the backside of Mt. Fort. The first very steep part was very tracked (français: tracé) but the snow was still soft, nice to ski (see my picture "backside mt. fort"). Lower we still found fresh pow.

But no matter, there was/is fresh powder, so conditions still are great! Take care of avalanches...

Je ne sais pas, où le Bec des Etagnes est. Un ami m'a montré quelques routes hors-pistes à Nendaz/Verbier, mais je ne connais pas bien les montagnes valaisannes (je suis du plat pays, bâlois, alors c'est loin d'aller au Valais pour un weekend). Amuse-toi!
