have you tried shooting with these flares straight into the sunlight? maybe even a silhouette shot? with flashes this way you can light up the smoke so that it stands out alot more
I have not, this is my first time using them. I'm planning on using them again maybe at night with some backlighting via speed lights. Thanks for the advice homie, you're kill'n it with the photos!
haha cheers! yea i think they work best at nights for sure. I tried using them in the day once for some biking shots and wasnt too stoked on the outcome. ill be interested to see what u come up with! seeing these just made me order a pack of 30 flares again
