Coho(silver) salmon. didn't weigh it but I'd guess it between 15 and 20 pounds before we dressed it, it was right around 30 inches. That photo is taken just outside beautiful Valdez Alaska on the Prince William Sound with what I believe are the beginnings of the chugach range in the background. Trip of a lifetime for sure.
and that was the second of that size that I caught that day.
