Really bad photos at this session. Again with the last shot, I had to press the shutter and ride as close as I could with the flash.
I really can't wait to get paid so I can buy the damn adaptor cable I need to use sync cables with the flash so I can actually get creative and not always worry about the technical BS.
It looks like it turnd out pretty well, the flash was placed at the right time and all. I like it actualy, but I hate technical stuff too, only because i know next to nothing about it.
Yo steve, don't be so hard on yourself. Every time I look at your photos, your like 'garbage photos at this session,' but the photo thats posted is amazing.
I just really hoped for something better before the shoot, and I'm P.O'ed that I don't get paid until next week which means not only do I need to stretch a 1/2 tank off gas another week but I won't be able to order my sync cables for another week.
But... when I get paid from my part-time job and get paid from a website I'm making for a local company, I'm going to be buying a Sekonic light meter so I can get things looking good without experimenting for 20 shots beforehand.
Nice. Which Sekonic meter are you getting? I dont have nearly enough money to afford one, but just curious. My exposures are usually decent with the in camera spot meter, but i also do a lot of bracketing and RAW shooting, which helps a bit.
look around, i got my l-358 for 200 usd.... also tell the riders not to have black pants on, also the lurker draws my attention, and i understand about the lack of lighting, but you could have done a longer exposier (say 8 seconds or so) then ran over and goten some side lighting by hiting the flash using the test button......
