1 1 1/2 hours first make a color pallet go in make alot of sqaures on the side and fill them with colors you may use in illustrator you also have the transparity tool ( that can come in handy ) teh hour or so you just have to get use to using the pen tool and layers in all at least its not photoshop where you have to hold down teh option key and for your eye lashes id change them theres a certain stroke library you can go into and just use a certain stroke that will look like eye lashes ..
