ahhhhhhh reminds of one of my epic runs in austria. too bad the snow was heavy and wet adn went into a moguled and avalncehd out canyon for a mile. that was shitty
When you hike for your turns and actually earn them, I don't think i'd want it to just last 1min, when you can have just as much fun during way longer. If you get helied to the top fine rip it up in three turns, but it's not an effort at all.
Some guy talked shit to me today after I skied a line off sunset peak, I got to the bottom and I was stoked because the snow was fucking epic. I made 5 turns down the whole mountain but I wasnt straight lining, and this guy says to me "I bet I had way more fun than you, fun to turn ratio" and he was dead serious. I tried to play it off as a joke but he wouldn't let it go. god I hate gurus, I don't talk shit on him for making 500 turns he shouldnt talk shit to me for making 5. Like Ice said, I hiked it, I can ski it however I want. The reason nobody ever lays a few huge turns, or worse, straightlines down Bonkers is because it takes too much work to drive over from Alta, then climb it with Trekkers, saying "this is going to be so sick brah!" the whole way. Just kidding, the old small turns vs. big turns argument always makes me laugh.
