One-Footed Dedication

As my day wound down and I prepared for my last run I saw a one footed figure at the bottom of the park, as I watched he bombed into a roller and hucked a front flip. I had put my camera away for the day but I chased him down and asked him to let me shoot a run. It turns out he has a broken ankle so instead of sitting at home in a cast he simply took off that ski to protect the bones and kept shredding, one footed. I followed him down as he slid and spun on rails, 360'd a jump, and stomped another fronflip. In his own words, "It takes a lot to keep a free skier from skiing'"
he had his other ski earlier in the day he just broke the binding is why he stopped using the other ski

No way he had a broken ankle and just kept shredding. I'm sure he was skiing one ski, but BS on his story.

I don't know if he was telling the truth but the group skiing with him all agreed with him and I know from personal experience that skiing with a bad ankle is totally doable. Ankle sprains can actually often be worse then breaks and with the ankle isolated and locked down in a ski boot I don't have any problem believing him. So take it as you will, either way he was still throwing down harder then 75% of the people there on one foot.

^^JuliusJ, in one of the LTC episodes, Leo Taillefer is shown skiing some lines on a broken ankle with no boot on so its definitely plausible

I'm just tryin to have a good time. At first I ripped my binding off my ski so I started shreddin on one foot, then I got a new pair of skis and messed up my ankle pretty bad so I have just been shreddin one footed lately.
