How do you like that wakeboard? A friend of mine has it and doesn't like it much.

umm well for starters im not at all a hippy, allthough they are pretty rad. and ya i like the board a lot. i just started up a few yrs a go, and i dont get out enough, so ya its soft and light enough for me cause im not that big. so ya im guessing your friend is a chick because its a chick board.

yeah, she's pretty a agressive rider though, and the board isn't aggressive enough for her. With wakeboards its all personal preference though.

eh its not ALL personal preferene, like waterskiing, a soft board/ski can suck for some things...the better i got at waterskiing, the stiffer ski i wanted till i got a carbon fiber Connelly comp ski...Ross Powers was living out at Bomoseen and we went wakeboarding in his boat a few times..but i sucked ass

well that's true. I guess I should have said that the board that is good for you is based mostly on riding style. The type of rocker and the degree of the rocker on a wakeboard play a huge role in whether the board is good for a person or not. Also, if they want to ride finless, molded fins would be a very good idea to keep some stability on the water. Molded fins come on most indermediate/advanced boards that are made today. Switching fins around is also a smart idea. They're expensive, but definately worth it. A shorter, more shallow fin has less traction, which makes surface tricks much easier. Board length and width is another biggie. If the board is not large enough to float the rider adequately then that leads to problems. It's one thing to get a smaller range board, but if it's dragging/sinking in the water, a longer board would be a very good idea because (1) it would be more stable and (2) it has a better potential to carve correctly and would move faster. However, if the board is too large, the rider has less control over what they are doing, which isn't bad for a beginner, but definately doesn't help once you start getting to inverted tricks and bigger spins. Possibly the most important thing when choosing a setup though, is not the board, but the bindings. Good fitting bindings is a must. If they are not snug, they will come off in a crash which can potentially result in a large range of injuries. On the other end, if they're too snug, they will cut off circulation to your foot, will be hard to get into, and just be uncomfortable in general.
I know I'm forgetting something, but nobody asked for a lecture on choosing the correct wakeboard setup.

damn girl you know your wake boarding shit! i mean i could have come up with all that, but not in one breath...right on keep rockin that shit!
