I think the DOF is too shallow here. yeah you got the nail, but it's sort of an awkward angle. You've got one plane of the DOF that is crossing the plane that the boards run parallel on, i don't know. I think i'd find it more asthetically pleasing if you shot it like 60-90 degrees to the left of where you did. and in the direction of the ends of teh boards.

yea ive shot at 1.8 but it seems u just use a shallow dof to make it all artsy wen really theres nothing there,..

try useing the lines to lead into the shot rather then come from nowhere.
