The first guy came out without any control. There is a reason you want to have instructors holding on to you so you don't fuck up like that first guy. You are asking to kill yourself if you don't know how to be stable and open up because even if you do cut away and pull ur reserve and you are still spinning you will induce 20 line twists and not come out. then you go splat on the academy grass. There is a reason a lot of academy kids get hurt skydiving. This video is evidence

I am the second guy, the first guy was told to kick his heels to be aware of his leg position. He was belly down and gtg the whole way. The Academy program is legit, that's why they do 3,000 jumps every summer with only a sprained ankle or two. We do 3 days of ground training from 5am to 4pm, we know our shit. If we don't pass all of the test with perfect scores, we don't jump. I have jumped with instructors as well (after this course) and since he was Army spec ops, this is how he learned too.
