this happened while I was biking this summer up at whistler. tried a 360 off the set at the creekside dj's. Crashed, handlebars twisted, brake level tore through my shorts and leg. It was a good 2 inches deep. Needed 18 stitches total: 6 underneath, 12 on top. Left a pretty gnarly scar too.
