My friend and I didn't imagine that we would actually jump this, but we finally did a few years ago. After we jumped, 1 policeman on foot, 2 local cop cars, 1 state trooper, 1 police boat, and 1 Coast Guard boat showed up.
We had lots of friends waiting around to help us get out quickly, first by boat, and then by car. The police were on our tail pretty quickly, but I don't think we would have received more than a fine.
