damn i wish i had this video last season...i was doing a lot of switch spins but i could never get a good takeoff and get my grabs because i never realized the importance of the pop
crucial to being a good freestyle skier... it pains me to see people who can do pretty technical tricks and can only land in the 'switch pizza' stance / can't hit jumps switch. For those that struggle at skiing switch it is 100% worth putting the effort in and will make skiing more fun all-around and you will improve drastically once you master it.
I'm guilty of switch pizza'ing a little but usually at takeoff, not so much landing haha. Like I always start to spin with my leading ski too early and then it crosses my tail before I actually pop.
