I feel the warm breeze tinged with cool salty currents of oceanic air. I smell the stones and the green leaves, warmed by the sun. I look out at the possibilities of the day, of the future. What is this promise unfulfilled? What is the significance of the sea's endless clash with the shore? Does it reflect my own journey or discovery? Is my backpack too small? Are my pants too short? Does this rock hurt my ass? Sometimes, the question is the answer.
