no sled was used.i took a chair lift for 400m.then i put my skins and climbed, sometimes 20 min and rarely for more than an hour.then i would ski back to the chair lift or to a road.small ski hills that leave more vertical to climb are best.very worthwile

Sweet. I to have experianced the small hills that the best terrian is accessed by skinning, boot packing, or long traverses. I love earning my turns.
