Do you take 2 seperate pictures? or color it in photoshop? if you color it in photoshop that is absolutely insane. Im guessing the skis look lifted because of the brakes?

It is one photo taken in color. You just make a copy, desaturate it, then clone or mask the colour part of your choice onto the black and white version. and yes, the brakes are liftng the back of the skis off of the floor

couldnt u also use the history brush over the areas u want back into the original colour?

paintshop pro 8 (like photoshop, but with an interface i prefer) doesnt have a history brush, so i dont know, probably possible
