You need webbing and preferably 3 carabiners. Tie either a rewoven figure eight or a water knot to secure the webbing to one tree and then run the webbing to the other tree. So, with the three biners- two should be tied onto the rope together with overhand slipknots and the other should be secured with an overhand slipknot about 4-6 feet from the other two near the end of the rope. Run the webbing around the rope and to through one of the biners that is in the set of two. Then pull it as tight as possible. Then run to the single biner and again pull tight, then tie off to the second biner in the group of two with a clove hitch. <br />
