The cop came once asking us if we were hitting the jump with cars. We were like WTF and told him we were hitting it with skis and snowboards. He said it was fine and went on his merry little way. 30 minutes later he had 2 cops at the end of this road waiting for us. The driver got busted for driving to endanger and the board of the person getting pulled was confiscated for evidence. now the driver is going to trial for this bullshit charge. i don't understand how it's driving to endanger if the driver had consent from the person being pulled to be pulled. hopefully everything will get thrown out.
Hmm I don't really know what could help his case. I guess some explanation would be to show that this isn't an abnormal and endangering thing to do and explain it is done in professional ski movies such as second generation. And snowmobiles are used for the same purposes. Plenty of movies where that's done. I wonder if part of the problem is that the people being pulled were actually on the real road.
