^not homo, rockabillies are greasers, people who live the rockabilly scene. It actually started in the 40's/50's with elvis, brian setzer, Mr. Lou and many others. It has a strong foundation of rock and roll, jazz, country, swing, and whatever else you wanted to throw in there with it. It has a distinct sound and after people got tired of making just rockabilly they pushed the edge of the music to its new horizon.<br />

Psychobilly, which is rockabilly on mescaline. It was kind of the first punk in its day, and a lot punkers got a lot of influence from theses guys.<br />

The bands usually consist of, 3 members, sometimes more. A drummer, who is usually schooled in jazz or knows jazz rhythms very well. A guitar player who also knows the same things but has a good classic bebop voice from the fifties, but mixed with a little cocaine, and loves to rock out. Then you have the most interesting part of the whole band. You have the bassist, which is mostly played with a stand up bass, which is really hard to play if you didn't know(a select few classic bands didn't have the stand up bass player, but still were extremely successful, ie The Cramps).<br />
