fuck i wanted to hike up there but my pussy bitch friends wouldnt, i did go off to the left of the gondola facing the mountain and there was tons of fresh untrakced pow, it was sick

its kinda sketchy...if you do it, you have to stay as far skier's right as possible and it will be cool. we made the mistake of going a little left, were way out of stowe, and ended up hiking back through the forest

i hiked up there in when i was little. it was sweet. i stepped off the packed trail once without my skis on and sunk in over my head. lots of snow is totally awesome.
