I hate to tell you this but i would send that EP Pro Back, it has a serious blemish/defect - it you should not see the core in the upper left tip - i have a pair and it does not look like that, my friend got one with a similar defect as yours, and he just sent it back to getboards. The Line rep told us that the very first batch was "scetchy" to say the least - i feel you got a defected pair - especially in such a delam prone spot. If you paid full price for this I would definitely send it back.
