eye gets drawn right to the spot to the left of your hair. only becuase your face is in shadow for the most part and to the left of you is brighter then the right, so if you were turned to the left just a little and got more light on your face it would be a better add I think, since your trying to draw attention to the hat.

this is not like that at all, its a pro photographer and she is not taking it with her cellphone from a weird angle in her bathroom and editing it with terrible colors to make it stand out. nope, this is a good picture.
I think if you had of shifted your weight from mostly your left leg to a balance of both, or slightly right leg heavy, you would have had a perfect photo.
Great shot none the less. I like the headroom personally, adds a bit of scale to the background. Lets you know its a vast place.
I wish I had a photo like this of myself actually. Very neat
