What kind of surgery did you have that req'd a tourniquet? That's effed. They're usually used in emerg situations...I had one when I had a laceration req'ing 100 stitches, but I didn't think they were used beyond that.
my top incision is gigantic because they were going to do a hamstring graft, so they cut my hamstring, inserted it above my knee...then realized that it was 8mm too short, so they had to pull it back out...and then they had to insert a cadaver.<br />
<br />
needless to say i didn't realize any of this until a week after (i thought they measured first and saw it was too short before they cut it), ha. even my physical therapist was like "uhh i have no clue why it's so big," and he worked with the US Snowboard team.<br />
<br />
Sounds like a bad mistake on their part, but they did a great job. the surgeon works with the US Ski team so i'm sure he did the best he could. never knew that being short would catch up with me that way though, ha.
"Two weeks after ACL surgery and i'm walking, no crutches or brace after 2 weeks"<br />

huh, i probably wouldn't do too much until i knew i was completely healed. i have seen a couple of re-injuries because they huried through rehab, and i don't recommend risking it.
