yeah make the tails longer, and you should have painted the fence first. paint in layers. silver sharpie might look cool, or mix the a grey up with a dab of silver... looks good for a first try tho.

id paint the poles in and get the shadows on those in good, then get a fairly fine tipped brush and do in the wires. worse comes to worse.. it's paint. just go over and have at it again.

do you really expect him to paint over and redo the tails just because the dont look centered?

IN ORDER TO GET THE FINEST LINES WHILE PAINITING....

first you draw in with a light pencile your lines so you what you can have a guide.....

THEN - this can be gard BUT if you practice for about 10-15 mins you'll have it down...

YES - have a fine pointy brush - use your own spit - put the brush IN your mouth - and lightly twerl it - pulling it out - youll get the pretiest point ever. ( make sure its fiarly clean though )

NOW the lines - youll need a ruler. Hold the ruler at an angle with one hand and the other Hold the brush as you would a pen or pencile. with your thumb and index fingers.

THEN take your middle finger's nial and let the ruler's edge glide up under your nail. then LIGHLTY stroke away - ALL in the same direction..... and as you get to the end pull up.

IFFFFFFFFFFF you get good you can just use the tip of your finger on the ruler. since its kind of irritating under the nail.

DOOOOOOOOO not use "wet" paint make it smooth and silky.

MAKE you pracice IT is a hard thing to do but it workz and the out come is great.

IF you want to actually practice on your painting - as with every thing else - something I learnede at my design skol - the same stuff that teachers use on the projecters in the calss room that clear paper stuff just tape it down to where you want to practice - and paint - you can then lift it and look under to see your progrection - THE nicest thing about this is that YES the paper is about 2dollars at a craft store. BUT you can clean it off with water. NO matter how long the paint stays on.

TO get some cool cloud or snow effects - this is quite simple - put on the paint - fairly watery - and then take a sqrunched up tissue and dab it sofly picking up some of the wet paint leaving a white canvas background..

if you need any more help I gotz ton of tips and secrtes.
