It was pretty cool to see a book made 425 years ago full of illustrations and text that has survived all these years. It was even cooler that all my class had to do was wash our hands and we could touch priceless art 80 to 900 years ago.
haha enigma, it's because it's written in German. what's funnier is that the guy with the sword is stepping on the dudes balls... insult to injury. But from a historical point it is rare to see a book that made it past WW2 even though it is german. cool stuff.
K, the Assyrian Cuneiform Tablet was of Amar-Suen, King of Ur, and was made somewhere between 2046 and 2038 BC. The Egyptian Hieroglyphs were 1085-730BC.
