No style.... come on... you go out and throw a fakie double back with style.... fuck just throw a regular double back... its not that easy... its the fact that its hard to do and the fact that no one does them that makes its sick... this was also done a while back when style wasn't as important, it was about progression, making new tricks, and being different and crazy... now-a-days everything looks the same... I mean if you get all technical and look into tricks thuroughly the tricks are different, but in reality they don't seem all that different... like in competitions the person with the winning run probally had the same exact run as the second place person and the third place person, but had better "style".... where did the uniqueness go... where did being different and unpredictable go... you can almost tell what eveyones going to do to win comps this year... some switch 7's, switch 9's, and a big switch 10 at the end... yeah they are impressive, but all of them will do the same thing... why not be innovative... why not throw a underflip in there?... I'm counting on Candide to go out there this year and be different... he is the one who will show people where freestyle skiing is really headed!!!
sweet tricks and huge hucking beats out 'style' (whatever thats supposed to mean) anyday. that's why everyone knows who shane and seth are, and the little jib rats fade into oblivion after a season or two. it's about balls, not grabs and tweaks.
