I think the big spins are cool, but it's also just hilarous at the same time.......I think that if these guys looked like they had the spins in better control (like they didn't almost bail on every landing) it would increase the rad factor. Fast spinning just looks stupid, and straight shoulder mogul spinning is even worse....combine these two elements and you've got something really terrible going. If you're going to standup straight like a board, with your arms at your side off of a jump you belong in 1995. Thats were I'm coming from...we're just better than that now. Skiing is not gymnastics with boards on your feet, it is the control of your edges on snow that set you apart from being able to hit a water ramp (or a small jump with no real lip and a powder landing as seen in the 1800 rotation vid) and to ski down a steep line. The park will get more and more played until everyone in it can actually ski the whole mountain just as well. Enough.
