First of all some of the best newschoolers come out of racing programs. Its one of the soundest technical bases for any type of skiing. Theres a reason that a tone us Big Mountian skiing champions are former US Ski team members, theres also the fact that the people like Bode Miller (who happens to race slalom) and Daron Rahlves have more talent than any of us could ever dream of having. And for those of you who keep arguing that slalom takes 'no skill,' I wonder if youve ever tried to race or even carve on bullet prrof ice before. The fact that you guys find one aspect of skiing more fun doesnt make every other part of the sport worthless. So cant we all get along? Also, the skiers you idolize (Jon Olsson for one) dont often hate racing, they just hate the mentality that a lot of top racers have, and the regulations that FIS puts on them.

No matter what anyone says wearing spandex and bashing gates is still dumb as fuck and it is even dumber that someone decided to make a video about it. What a fucken tool.

WOW - the first shot was really nice - then you went to the racing and it went downhill from there(hypothetically and literally), sadly there is no where to give negative ratings.
wow, i'm impressed with the feedback from a racing vid. i'm been looking around on this site for a couple months now, and i've noticed how incredibly negative most people are comments, as well as making bathroom humor, homophobic comments, and other stuff we used to back when we were 12 years old. I figure I'd post something out of the norm and see what sparks would fly. thanks for the entertainment. also, for those of you who don't really care... u of r's ski team is just club and not competitive at all. basically we just drink a lot. we're much better at that than skiing. peace.
