You learn how you would throw corked before you try it!...This kid seems to just hit jumps and jsut try things beyond his skill level...No people do not learn tricks by just throwing themselves off of jumps..I'm sorry but your wrong!..you should feel confident you will land the trick if you try it!
madstyles dude..your contradicting yourself..thats like saying 'learn to write THEN buy a pen' ..it doesnt work. you need to have a pen to learn how to write. same with tricks..you learn tricks by doing them. So explain to me how your supposed to know how to do a trick before you throw it.
I think he knows how to do a corked trick. He sets the rotation correctly. He knows how to do it in theory, but your body hasn't learned to do it yet. Confidence in landing a trick comes from getting the feel for a trick. I learned cork 7's by bashing my body, I probably ate shit 15 times before I ever landed one. If anyone out there landed a perfect stylish corked 7 the first time they tried one, raise there hand.
I'm not trying to sound angry here. It's just that Mad Styles gives such negative criticism on a lot of vids. I understand that he has his own desires for skiing: that it's stylish and smooth, but his comments are very discouraging, and skiers should ALWAYS encourage eachohter, as long as its reciprocal.
very true, and I have made comments about that, but please realize, anything i post about bryan is joking around, hes a great friend of mine. He is actually better than these vids suggest, if I get the time, ill post some that make him look smooth, and a good skier.
Yea I realize your just jokin around, and believe me I've done my share of laughing =) everyone takes stupid falls, and if they're on video they make it that much more hilarious.
