yeah... what's wrong with the cutout filter? I mean yeah it doesn't take as much skill as vectorising something with a pen tool, but there's a certain look you get with the cutout filter you can't get with the pen tool. What if he was going for that look? I mean it's really nice that everyone around here seems to be closed minded... but come on just because someone used that filter doesn't mean you've got to automaticaly assume the person has no skill. maybe?
