you must upload pics/vids of these straightlines you speak of. ill admit your lincoln pic was pretty sweet, but your attitude sucks..this guy was going out, havin fun, and skiing nice lines, but you have to say he screwed it up cause it wasnt straightlined.bullshit
Pinball ehh? That is a 47 degree chute at crystal. The only reason it is popular is because it is visible from the chair lift. First of all, I doubt you have straight lined that chute, and even if you had it is maybe 200 vertical foot chute before it opens into a wide open bowl. If by chance you were ever to hike more than a half an hour to the top of silver king you may find better steeper lines. The Y Couloir, which Gabe skied is published to 60 degrees at the top, decreasing to upper 50's after that. The couloir also extends over a 1000 vertical feet, which is more sustained vertical than silver king. With a 7 mile approach and 5,282 feet of elevation gain. I was the only other one that was going to be making turns in the couloir for a long time. It is fine by me that Gabe did not straight line the wind buffed slope. Get out of the resort before you talk shit to anyone who does a big line in the backcountry.
fuckin uppity folks in here. judging by this picture i looked at on the internet, that slot looked doable for a straightline... doable and fun so i commented with two word. "straight that", pretty innocuous and neutral i thouhgt. then i mistakenly took the sarcasm route... to equally poor reception. lesson of the day: the internet is a fucking useless tool for accurate communication. i'm not insulting anyone, i just dont like being called a park rat, cool? great job being sick... to EVERYONE! yay. this is about your buddy, not me. take it back to the basics.
