For all y'all Americans, Jack Layton is the leader of the New Democratic Party in Canada. Our local MP is super-dedicated and managed to get Jack here to our small town which was pretty cool.
I use a Vivitar 285HV but I think it was turned off for this shot. There were broadcast cameras out front so they had a bunch of lights that were really quite bright... unfortunately my white balance suffered when I stopped using my own flash... but I can't bounce off the roof with it when shooting vertically.
