Sunset w/ Friend in foreground

im no genius, but i think foreground would be what is in front of the focused photo?

what? The guy is in the foreground because he's the closest thing. Has nothing to do with focus, he's still the foreground, no?

BTW, the background is very busy so your friend doesn't pop out that well. If it weren't a parking lot with that distracting sign it'd be steeze.

Nice foto. It's difficolt to shot å pic like that when it's so dark, and still get right focus and make the pic sharp enought. Good job, man.

Foreground is the object(s) neares the cam, then is the middleground f.eks. som buildings, and the last one is background. That will be mountains or some thing like that...

Wow i misread the title, i thought it said sunset in foreground. My mistake, mate.

Thanks for the comments. I agree that the pic is too busy, but when I saw the sunset I knew that I only had a small amount of time before it would go away so I had to take advantage of it where I was.
