I've been there too! I was an exchangestudent in brazil. foz do Iguazu is a really cool place....and we were inhalating 'LANCA perfume'...A gass that makes you fly high and far away!!!
ehh.... problem was... i lived on a farm, with no phone, internet or cable. this farm was 30 miles away from a town with less than 10,000 people in it. i was living with a family who spoke 0 words of english. I was sick 2/3 of the time. I hate wine, this shit they alled fernet and the beer was nothing special. Added with the sickness i hate drinking when i am sick. the exchange student that was came up to the states was in college and never came home. so that prevented me from hanging out with his friends and getting to and from the farm.
