there are already so many tracks on there though...I don't understand

It actually only burried one person. the Slide was on the other side of teh first patch of trees that you see there. the bowl with all of the tracks was bombed out by the snow birds and let gow a huge avalanche also.

you can be the 50th person on the slope and it slides

yeah thats one of the first things they tell you in those avalanche safety packets, that avalanches are usually not actually triggered by the first person. not that i have any real backcountry training though.

Damn i was so scared when i heard about the avalanche i skied that exact same run i saturday before the avalanche

ya. i have a picture just about the same place. i was there a few weeks ago ( a few months afta it happend), and skied it. it was scary
