i think you should do parts of it w/ that texture just cuz it you do that whole thing that'll kind of take away from him, but if you just leave it smooth it'll look kind of open, so just use it sparingly

id say do the snow but make it light... like barely visable unless you know what your looking for, then pollard will be grabbing your attention. you also might want to make some flare around the bottom right of the pic to grab the attention to that place so the sequence flows accordingly.
