the original was the second of may' by francisco goya. it consisted of the execution. i added the old man (from another goya painting) the halo in the upper righthand corner, the skeleton (from brughels 'triumph of death) and the ghosty looking people behind the condemned, from a painting called 'the damned' i dont know who by.
