This is viewed from the bottom of 'the dome' on Shames Mountain. Today, first run we skinned up for an hour to reach the top of the dome, and I saw the most incredible view of my life. But I didn't bring my cameras!! I wanted to pack light so adding a large pelican case to my pack wasn't my idea of packing light. 360 degrees of mountains where i was, mountains I'd never seen before and never will see before until the next clear day I'm up there. So incredible. 14 times as beautiful as these mountains.
