As this was her first time hitting a rail the POINT was to have it as low as possible. I thought that was made clear in the description. Couple reasons this was a great achievement... #1 its her 3rd season on skiis and she only skied about 3-4 times last year #2 its a round rail vs a flat bar, so it takes much more balance to slide the whole thing. Thats only her 5th or 6th attempt (pictured) and she slid the whole thing. I think its pretty impressive. Anyhow I thought some of the girls on the site might appreciate it as well and push em on a bit
yeah, you could probably raise it to like a foot or so. Just as long as you cant hurt yourself if you fall. But having it off the ground even a little, might get you used to being off of the ground and jibbing. I learned on like a foot high rail. Keep at it though.
