i did that awhile ago on my four wheeler. i did that to my collarbone skiing in canada. it had a 2 inch spance in between the jagged ends of the bone

kinda walking after 3 1/2 months bone didn't totaly heal for like 14 months. the orthopedic surgen said it was one of the worst breaks he had ever seen. there was no twisting force on the leg. my ski even stayed on the whole time till i stoped and patrool took it off.

One of my best friends broke his neck last saturday doing a backflip. He never made the rotation. He has been doing them for like 5 years and for some reason the conditions were bad and he was just really unlucky. Thank god he's not paralyzed or anything and he'll recover, but he does have a titanium rod going from his head to his spinal cord and he'll have that there for the rest of his life. Shit like that is scary...

holy shit, thats the only break ive seen worse than mine. did they throw you in a cast or did you get metal rods and plates put in?

yea no casst just the rod and 4 pins. had 2 pins out last october, the other 2 out 2 weeks ago.

fuck, did you get like bone shards in ur leg after that? I REALLY don't want THAT to happen to me. ever.
