well put MC. you guys are being a jerk to her. so what if she probably has a friend on this site or something. lets not forget that she does ski, and i know theres probably a good 1/8-1/3 of the people on here because of their friends, and not because they ski.
I joined this site because I am passionate about skiing, as others are too on here. I am extremely disappointed on the ethics that they have been displayed on this site, when all anyone is trying to do is be in a community where others would embrace them for the sport they all enjoy.
I cannot believe the amount of immaturity that is portrayed on here, with the nasty little jealous comments some individuals make. If you have that much low self-esteem, maybe you should try looking at yourself instead of criticizing others.
Otherwise, I hope to chat with people who came to this site for the same reasons as I have, to empower the sport of skiing.
You should be proud of your accomplishments. Good for you and congratulations. That being said, you really haven't contributed much to this community (not that I have noticed at least). You have 2 posts and until now, I've never heard of you. Personally, I find strength in this community for demanding people earn respect through good contributions instead of through looks and prestige.
Once again, props on what you have done, but if you want a better response to you this picture, become involved, be yourself and have fun. Don't take things personally and respect other people.
