PNW had a gnarly heat wave last weekend but were still trucking along

I thought the snowpack was really high this year? is this not the case, or did the heat wave just do incredible damage.

I'm not sure how it was in the spring. I was up at crystal and we got nuked there. But the heat was pretty bad regardless. Every festure got set and almost fully buried, and 2 days later everything had ti be reset to get the camps rolling. It was HOT lol. Temps are a lot more reasonable today finally though and the parks are ridng good

it was insane this spring. so much snow so low. seemed like a lot up high too i think, but it was the low snow that tripped me out the most.

Night time temps are a huge factor.

Yeah for sure. 80 degree nights it probably won't refreeze
