Flat 3 its not really called rodeo until 5 kinda wack system but. They are basically the same rotation except flat you do what you do where you get that orbital motion around the back and with rodeo you set like up and to the side and grab and can feel yourself being pulled around.
Kind of a grey area around rodeo vs flat. At first i had never heard of a rodeo 3 until the stompit tutorials video on rodeos and flats. A general rule for rodeo vs flat on any rotation is rodeos are more inverted than flats. You can really call it whatever you want ( there basically the same thing). Totally take a look a the stompit tutorials video on it though it has some good info on it.
I’ve seen it called a whack flip a few times on here; You did a backflip but your body never twirled during it, your feet were way out to the side, so it’s a backflip that’s like “whacky” or “whacked out” (no offense ofc, I think they’re dope!)
Flat3 is basically a side flip,
Rodeo 3 is a myth I’m pretty sure lol
just call it a flat 3, looks good. japan flattens it out, and its definitely more flat than most whack-flips. flatten it even more and start spinning out of it and work up to bio 9!
Flatspin, Rodeo, D-Spin.... it's all effectively the same shit it's just that certain terms like "flat 3" and "rodeo 5" have stuck within the community. Try keeping your head in one place and bring your hips/legs/feet around on a flatter axis and you'll find 5s and 7s will come super easy, plus you'll have more control over your flat 3s. also bounce higher haha
