Turn 90

hi guys stupid question to ask but is there any good way to set up ur mind when u try to commit your body turn fully 90 on rail? I think I watched so many videos talking abt counter rotation so I can’t get rid of it now. It’s really hard for me to slide the rail all the way like this.
Also I feel like when I hit a lower rail straight and turn 90 I can always pop higher than hit it side ways. I know I have to lear urban on eventually, any tips for practicing? Like should I go back to box or tubes? Much thanks! It’s kinda stupid to ask question here but I’ve seen so many helpful tips from the other answering so still decide to ask. ??
Imagine facing your shoulders perpendicular instead of parallel also doing 90s on flat ground will help

everybody starts somewhere, and that looks great. my recommendation is to widen up your stance a bit, it will help you to keep your skis from sliding off early and you will be more stable as well.

Focus on getting your front ski inside edge locked on the rail (pretzeling or scissoring the rail). Watch videos of someone with great rail control like Alex hall or Evan mceachren and you'll notice you can almost always see the base of there front ski from how hard they are scissoring the rail. This also allows you to swap much easier and spin out of the rail.

Russ henshaw vs Evan mceachren minute 9:53 there is an exagerated example of this. Also the best slvsh of all time in my opinion

So he landed on he’s back foot and slide all the way ?
Watched the whole game and just realize they were that good back to 5yrs ago?
