as amazing as the skiing was and I'm seriously impressed by it, don't try to trick people by saying it's her second season skiing. It's her second full season skiing. That's like me moving to Whistler next season having skied all my life as a kid on holidays then claiming I've never skied before.
I got to say that I'm not trying to trick people, I was just trying to clear things up since there were so many people asking about her 'second season'.
Oh for sure I've skied since I was a kid, but I live in the UK so when I finished university I moved to France to do a ski season. And then I did another one..
For fucks sake, people commenting on the description of "second season" is ridiculous; some people find the smallest things to be negative about.
In the UK scene you count a "season" as a full winter period spent out in a ski resort; seeing as most people only get a couple of weeks a year out in the alps.
I would say I've only done 1/2 seasons; which is true; but I've been skiing for 30 years.
But that's not the point. Sarah is one of the best female skiers out there (and considerably better than most male skiers in the UK); as well as the most underrated/unknown skier out there; and all a lot of people can comment on is the semantics of the post description? Ridiculous.
Anyway, I'm tired and slightly drunk. Congrats on an awesome season Hoff. x
