Checkers

I didn't say we didn't work whilst the lift was open as well, We have to! Otherwise the ruts get too big and it is dangerous. Im sorry we want safety in our park! And for rake time, come try raking the features properly and see how long it take you

And I think you are talking about the other crew or you have no idea what you are talking about, as we have not been on the bigs during open hours in a while, except yesterday and that is because of nationals this week

the rake job at cop is always so good but definitely doesn't need to be done to this extent. is sucks waiting and hour to hit the jumps while this raking goes down

Seriously though. You guys need to get some rails on all those empty knuckles before the shroom.

Also the park crew should salt all the features when its hot especially the big jumps that way you wouldn't have to waste so much time raking all the soup off them.

ASP are here for the next few days to install rails for nationals. The reason behind the removal of the rails and the closure of the half pipe is because of the competition all week. The pattern in the take offs is not what takes the most time, it is the filling of the holes and ruts, and the fixing of lips that takes time and effort. As park crew, I personally choose to do my work well, if that means that kids riding have to hit one of the other features for a couple runs so be it. Do yo want it done fast or do you want it done right? Kids constantly complain that park crew doesn't care enough, well here is someone who cares. The problem with salting is that it shrinks everything. And again, this extent of raking is after closing so no one is affected.

im stoked that the park crew is finally doing work at COP, in past years the problem has always been that they simply dont seem to be there and stuff never gets raked. What i dont agree with is the time that the park crews rake certain features. to @kimberblackwolf, i dont know if its you or the other crew, but some of u guys are absolutley retarded. being a coach there as well as just skiing as much as i can, there seems to be absolutley no structure or planning to the raking. All of the programs start at 6, where 95% of kids in those programs are hitting the small side of the park. judging by that, 6:30 isnt really the greatest time to start raking the jumps on the west side while 50 kids are waiting at the top. i just feel like there is alot better times that certain features could be groomed, which might mean that you guys dont get to just cruise down the park closing one feature at a time and taking half an hour to draw the diamonds on it, because again, it might not be you, but i have watched people make their own designs on the lips, and i have watched myself and the kids that i coach rip 1 lap and all that hard work and cosmetic appeal is gone. just get the job done quick, but get it done right. thank u for ur hard work and dedication to detail. but honestly.... just let the kids play

Filming/photography at COP is basically cheating. The backdrop is just too damn awesome

I agree that the raking is much better this year but honestly the patterns is too much, a simple rake is enough, diamond patterns are not going to make the lip any better. There's a difference between doing your job well and wasting our time waiting for you to finish your weave patterns.
