initial cost was about $500 for heli, controller, charger and one battery. since then ive bought 5 extra motors, a dozen or so extra props, 2 more batteries and some misc stuff. so right now im about $650-$700 into it. thats for a cheap set up. for a good set up with good gyros and gps unit you are looking at about a grand or more without controller, battery, and charger.
