To anyone who has ever worked in a ski town or in the ski industry.

We all remember those days when we were skiing 150 days a year in Whistler or Banff or Aspen... working for peanuts and loving life doing it.... well this is a guy that did better than any of us... he prolly free skied everyday of the season.... he "lived the dream"... and all the while he progressed nothing.... he is a poor representation of what kids should look up to...

The skiing industry is full of these guys... no education, no backup plan, prolly not speaking to his family and running from reality... the sad part was he made it to pro and actually got away from reality for a bit... i geuss at the end of the day he doesnt really need money any more since he cant ski on that leg any more....

im really not hating on this guy though.... i know hundreds like him.... they work at a coffee shop in a ski town full time... they live a poor life... except of the days when they ski with the millionaires and realize they have more days skied then a rich person... its a rich life but my advice is to keep studying...

to any kids reading this... keep studying... skiing is the most fun thing ever but life is expensive... so if you want a good life and lots of skiing get an education and always have a back up plan... Because as gangster as Tanner Hall acts and seems he is from a rich family and has is own business... this bum just put a bunch of perminent ink on his neck and now his is dealing with it...

always be ready to learn new skills... skills that might be learnt in a tattoo person free environment... and when this guys tattoo business fails and he is driving my cab or selling bongs or dildos, belive me he will wish he had gotten an education while he was skiing...

Tom Wallisch for president... he is in school and a pro skier ...

You make it sound so simple Jebus... You have no idea what Leighs life is like. He comes from a Very Very Very Very well off family so i think he is probably sorted for life. But do not pass judgement on people you have no idea about. If this is the life he wants to pursue then let him. no need to hate. People can make their own good and bad decisions but they will always learn from them no mattter what the outcome is.

^^^^^^who are you to say that man? what makes you think his knee is permanently messed up? tons of skiers blow their knees for a season. he's back to normal health now. and what makes you think he isn't talking to his family? leighs mom was at the pbp premiere and from what i could tell they have a great relationship. and leigh is actually doing pretty well by giving tattoos to people up in whistler during his off time, so i think he'll be fine.

^ dope. I was worried that his knee was super f'ed up. Glad to hear he is doing well. It's important to have an education it will help you succeed and give you structure. However I just wrapped up four years in Jackson and I'm back in school and I have to say while I am excited about my program, sometimes experience is the best teacher. To each his own. Pretty much the whole 4bi9 team is or was doing the school/ ski thing and making it work and there are many more kids out there like them. I don't think its fare to criticize Leigh's creative outlet. Who knows he could have his own tattoo shop one day. But thats my 2 cents. Leigh Powis is sick as shit though and his skiing is definitely influential.

here ive changed my opinion with this short peace ive done on face tattooing... it really is "art" ...

Tattoos have become much more mainstream these days. In past generations only rebels or sailors wore tattoos as a way of differentiating themselves or appearing to be tough. Since that time simply having tattoos has become much more mainstream and is no longer seen as “tough”. In fact, it is common place to see older women with small tattoos on their ankles or backs and they no longer cause heads to turn. However, now that people with regular tattoos are no longer standing out in the crowd people have resorted to putting tattoos on their faces. This is certainly a very distinguishing way of setting oneself apart from the rest of society and appearing “out there”. There are many good reasons why people may want to have their faces tattooed.

Getting a face tattoo is a great idea and a personal choice that every citizen has the opportunity to get. It has become more popular and may not limit your choices of occupations, as there does not seem to be a barrier to getting employment or finding like-minded people to socialize with you when you are sporting one. Hiding the blemishes will help individual feel more comfortable and may also help you cover up unsightly scars. They chose the design and can be a personal expression of who you are and what you believe it. They can also demonstrate your artistic flare. Sporting a face tattoo can tell the world that you are an individual and that you have an opinion on what is going on in the world around you. Face tattoos are good examples for children to follow. A parent with a face tattoo can teach their child that you can be an individual and have your own unique personality.

Tattoo shops are popping up on every street corner and this is helping to boost the economy. Tattoo artists are now artists who can show their work to the world and not just in art galleries. They are conversation pieces that can get the world to talk about art in all of its forms. What better way to make the world a more colourful and interesting place? Regardless of what you are wearing no one will miss your artistic expression.

As a businessperson or salesperson no one is going to forget the person with the face tattoo. They are unique and continue to stand out in the crowd. It will show freedom of expression, increased popularity and as they become more commonplace they will allow one to feel part of a club of non-mainstream people.

Choosing to have a face tattoo is a very unique expression still. Having a face tattoos has been very controversial for may years, this is because of those without face tattoos tend to discriminated against those with face tattoos. Though a tipping point in society is coming and it wont be long now, till those with face tattoos greatly out number those with out. Having a face tattoo is a choice that an individual is allowed to make in our society.

Feeling comfortable with ones personal appearances is something that every person in our culture strives for. Having a face tattoo gives the individual a chance to correct some blemishes and spots that many people feel ashamed of. Ever person who considers getting a face tattoo get the chance to chose a design or design them selves a look that will complement their current look. Being able to chose a design for how ones face will look is an important part of living in our society to a lot of citizens.

Another reason that getting or having a face tattoo is good is it shows a great example for children. Children who see people with face tattoos will have more time to think about and design their own face tattoos. Since face tattoos are somewhat artistic, and kids who see face tattoos will be thinking about them, it means that kids will develop a more artistic side of creativity at earlier ages. Showing kids face tattoos will give kids a better understanding of those with face tattoos and how they can be positive role models. With so many positive role models who have face tattoos appearing in various situation in society they will have more justification to get ones themselves. Giving kids justification to get face tattoos will enhance a child’s ability to fit in. With a child’s newfound justification of face tattoos it will be that much easier to explain their reasons for getting on themselves.

People who get face tattoos are much more likely to succeed in a business environment. Having a face tattoo is a meeting can show a client that the business is going to be a big success. The more employees with face tattoos a company has the better a successful image a company will be able to portray. Since people with face tattoos are generally very good with sales and customer relations having a lot of employees with face tattoos can show how great your company is doing.

With such a growing percentage of our society getting or already having face tattoos those with out them are likely not to fit in. People who have face tattoos are likely to outnumber those with out in the coming years and this is going to cause a split. Getting a face tattoo is a great sign that you have friends and are able to fit in with any sect of society. Face tattoos also symbolize a person’s ability to understand the freedoms that come with living in our society.

Since every sect of society is going in the face tattoo direction it should be something that every reader should consider. Kids are going to see them sooner or later and if parents haven’t shown them good examples they are likely not to get one and thus will never fit in. Businesses that don’t employ enough people with face tattoos are likely to fail because of their lack of sales without these unique individuals. There is overwhelming interest in face tattoos these days and there is going to continue to be a market for it as it become part of mainstream culture.
