This guy definitely deserved to be on the podium! Sick run put down by THE man, Henrik Harlaut. Only ended up getting like an 85 and 5th place but i was so stoked to see him in the finals. And that nose butter triple! taking in to the GUCCI PLATEAU
i think the scoring was right, although goepper and kenworthy should have switched, i dont know if anyone else noticed but the judges were taking off alot of points for anything that wasnt perfect (henriks last landing) hense why he scored lower.... joss's unnatty trip was perfect and deep as fuck, and gus and nick's runs were perfect
The commentators called every 450 a 430 and 270 a 250. Pissed me the fuck off. Also... The judges only watched the run live and couldn't go back and look at anything again or use slo-motion. Dollo's rail section was better than Joss' as well and was the only one to butter the jumps yet it appears the judges didn't notice. Also took the first jump at least 20 feet deeper than any competitor on any run. Needless to say, I'm stoked for Joss
his run is so different from everyone elses can't believe that fact didn't bump him way up on the podium. also throwing the triple earlier in jump line? should be viewed similarly as a first half pipe hit risk/reward factor as well I think. Henrik!
He should have finished 4th I think. His rail section wasn't as good as the top 3' and he muffed the landing on the last jump. Goepper was the one the one who got robbed. Best top section, stopped landings, double genie, and mute to double jap in a tripple. How is that not gold metal. Best slope run I've ever seen
