^^^Windells Academy is not a prep school. The academy is a way for Tim Windell to put his facility to use all year long and provide kids with the opportunity to pursue their passions and still get a good education
^^^^chill the fuck out man...they are just trying to improve in the sport and get an education at the same time, a lot of freeskiers dont do it, ur not the only one
^^ its a school that cost 20 grand a year to attend and they ski almost everyday, im just saying that i hate how these kids rich parents pay thousands of dollars a year to send there kids off to some boarding school where all they do is ski. and as for a quality education, thats bullshit flat out idc what they tell you theres no way you go there and completely focus in school. and ^ there just tryin to get better and have fun, thats bull that school is is for rich little kids who think being a pro skier is the coolist thing ever and they get there parents to pay a shit load of money just so they can do it.
^you sir need to chill out...and man do i wish when i went to sunday river for a week they just could of had a setup remotely close to this...sick skiing...you guys slayed
^^ I just like to say that these kids are in High School. They are accomplishing an education through online classes, that have the same curriculum as any other high level school. You don't know these kids who have worked extremely hard to get where they are, and with the help of sponsorships and Windells Academy are able to follow their dreams. I think its sad that you have to rip on great kids that you know nothing about and envy their work ethic and ability.
Goepp, karl and everyone, you slayed it out there! Congrats!
^ well said and i agree. It does suck how expensive our sport is though. No doubt in my mind that money has a huge impact on how well skiers can train and how good they can become. The only thing is I often notice academy kids sticking to doing tricks by the book so they lack creativity and sometimes style. But I would love to see them prove me wrong!
